Cohiba : Cohiba cigars were created
in 1966 as Havana's premier brand for diplomatic
use only. Since 1982 they were offered to the public
in three sizes: Lanceros, Coronas, Esplendidos and Panetelas
in 1989 three more sizes were added to complete La Linea
Classica namely: Explendidos, Robustos and Exquisitos
in 1992 the following five sizes
of La Linea 1492 were made in order to commemorate the
500 th anniversary of the discovery of Cuba: Siglo I
II III IV V. They are known for its high quality, as
well as being
Fidel Castro's personal favorite.

Montecristo : Montecristo cigars were
launched in 1935 by the H. Upmann factory,
as a tribute to the Count of Monte Cristo the cigar
smoking hero of Alexandre Dumas's
novel. Montecristo first appeared in just five sizes
: No. I II III IV V. Size "A" and
Especiales were added in the beginning of 1970's. They
are generally milder than
Cohibaand have a characteristic aroma, created by storing
leaves in a special type of
cedar wood box.

Romeo y Julieta : Romeo y Julieta cigars
are probably the best known Havana cigar
brand with huge range of shapes and sizes (40). Founded
by Alvarez y Gracia in 1875
and then in 1903 they were purchased by "Pepin"
Fernandez Rodriguez who is
responsible for making Romeo y Julieta the celebrated
brand that it is today.

Bolivar : Bolivar cigars are named after
the Venezuelan revolutionary, Simon Bolivar,
the great liberator of Latin America. They are amongst
the strongest, fullest bodied of Havanas, well constructed,
wonderfully rich and consistently of high quality.
